I'm fortunate to run a business in an industry that I'm truly passionate about, Personal Development.

I'm a country girl from Round Top, Texas. I now live in a small town between Galveston and Houston. I have been a pediatrician for 30 years. A change in leadership which came with major restructuring led me to pursue my passion to serve in new ways.

Over the past three decades, I have pursued personal development and discovered that I have additional work to do. I am committed to help empower people to live their best lives. My exploration led me to this business which allows me to pursue my most hearfelt passions.

Our business allows us to live where we choose to live, travel and explore the world in a way that I never felt possible.

THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE:

For the past 30 years I worked a very standard life of an academic physician-educator. Things changed dramatically as new leadership brought a very different set of priorities to my work life.

With no notice at all, I was offered a new contract with offered me half of my former salary. I left and made a life decision to pursue my passion with the gifts and talents that no longer served me well in this changed culture.

THE BUSINESS THAT WAS A BUST:

I started my online business journey only 3 years ago.

Despite attending meetings and seminars and spending countless hours on different approaches to marketing, I found that I had become rich in knowledge and poor in the bank account. I recognized that I had not created a sound business, but was satisfied to have a pleasant hobby which did seem to spread joy.

THE BOOK THAT LED ME TO SUCCESS: I've been an avid reader of Personal Development since I was 19 years old.

It started with the Celestine Prophecy, then Think & Grow Rich and countless others since.

Every spare cent I had would be spent on books (second hand books back in those days).

In the midst of this particularly low point where I couldn't make rent and all that, I was reading "The Secret" (by Rhonda Byrne, a book about The Law Of Attraction) and there was a concept that I wanted to learn more about.

So I got to googling and found myself on a website similar to the one that you're on now. There was something about it that made me pop in my details and the rest as they say is history!
